Muyideen Oyakojo triumphs over Kazeem Oliwo in thrilling bantamweight bout

In a thrilling bout at the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos, Muyideen Oyakojo of Bullion Boxing Promotional Limited emerged victorious against his contemporary, Kazeem Oliwo, in the bantamweight division competition.

The event, held on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, was part of the Ring Bragging Right of Super Supporting Bouts organized by the Lagos Boxing Initiative and overseen by the Nigerian Boxing Board of Control (NBB of C).

Under the keen supervision of referee Seyi George, Oyakojo secured his win in the fourth round. The three judges, Judge Segun Adesanya, Judge Tayo Olaifa, and Judge Yetunde Alimi, unanimously scored the fight 40-35 in favor of Oyakojo, highlighting his dominance throughout the bout.

The official certificate presentation took place at the Brai Ayonote Gymnasium Complex, National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos, with the President of the NBBofC, Dr. Rafiu Oladipo, and Secretary-General, Remi Aboderin, in attendance. This license, endorsed by the Grand Patron, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, reflects Bullion Go-Neat Global Limited’s commitment to enhancing Nigeria’s boxing landscape.
