Former CEO’s Konga, Nick Imudia commits suicide.

In a tragic turn of events, a former Chief Executive Officer of Konga, a leading Nigerian e-commerce platform, Nick Imudia has committed suicide, Fly Cable News gathered.

The unfortunate incident occurred on the night of June 25, 2024, when Nick jumped from the balcony of his Lekki apartment in Lagos, according to THE WILL Newspaper.

According to the THE WILL, Nick Imudia was serving as the CEO of D.light at the time of his death, a company known for its innovations in residential solar energy solutions and household products.

“Prior to his demise, he made a distressing call to his brother in the United States, detailing instructions on how his wealth should be distributed.”

“He also reached out to his young daughter from a previous relationship, offering her comforting words that he would always be with her in spirit.”

“Nick’s untimely death has sent shock to his friends, family, and associates who are still struggling to comprehend why he would commit suicide.”

“Nick, who hails from Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State, was previously married to the mother of his young daughter, who was also from the same area.”

“Their marriage ended due to irreconcilable differences.”

Before joining Konga, Nick was the regional director of TCL/Alcatel and GM/MD for West and Central Africa at icrosoft Device and Services as the GM/MD for West and Central Africa.
