Mummy of Lagos’ says I’ve missed my guys
Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has been released from Kirikiri correctional facility in Lagos.
The controversial crossdresser was released on Monday morning after serving a jail term for abuse of the naira.
Several footages of Bobrisky in a vehicle with actress Eniola Ajao and another woman have been widely shared on social media.
Looking glamorous, Bobrisky said, “I’ve missed you guys. I can’t wait to give you guys what you have missed.”
Actress Moyo Lawal, who was also among those to receive Bobrisky, described him as “bestie.”
Bobrisky was arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on March 24 for spraying naira notes at the premiere of “Ajakaju: Beast of Two Worlds,” produced by Eniola Ajao.
Bobrisky was awarded ‘best dressed female’ at the premiere, sparking outrage in the industry.
He was arraigned at the Lagos State High Court on a four-count charge. On April 12, Justice Abimbola Awogboro sentenced Bobrisky, who calls himself “mummy of Lagos,” to six months in prison without the option of a fine.
Justice Awogboro held that the jail term commenced on the day of his arrest.
