NEC-NAPPS celebrates 2024 World Teacher’s Day

The National Executive Council (NEC) of National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools in Nigeria, NAPPS has joined other organizations to celebrate teachers all over the world on Sunday.
In this year’s 2024 celebration, a statement signed by National President, Chief ‘Yomi Otubela, and its National Secretary, Comrade Augustine Ajibade sighted by FLY CABLE NEWS reads: “Education is key for achieving the global goals and teachers are key for achieving inclusive, quality education and a better future for all.”
We celebrate, ” the esteemed teachers across the country, particularly those serving in NAPPS-registered schools, on the occasion of the World Teachers’ Day 2024 celebration.”
“We stand before you with immense gratitude as we honour your unwavering dedication, resilience, and commitment to the noble profession of teaching.”
According to the statement, “the backbone of our educational system, the pillars upon which the future of our nation stands. Every day, you offer yourselves selflessly, molding minds, shaping futures, and instilling the values that will carry our children into tomorrow. ”
“NAPPS-registered schools are known for innovation, quality education, and commitment to excellence, and none of this would be possible without you, our valued teachers. You are the pillars of strength in our classrooms, inspiring minds and nurturing the leaders of tomorrow.”
The National President, noted that there are
numerous challenges facing our sector such as economic constraints, resource limitations, and societal shifts, you have continued to remain steadfast, offering hope, knowledge, and a future to millions of Nigerian children.”
On the occasion of World Teachers’ Day, we stand with the entire nation to celebrate and honour the vital role you play in shaping the future of our country, Otubela said.
However, we appreciate the teachers for the service, dedication, and for being a beacon of hope in our educational landscape,
Together, let us continue to uplift our profession and build a brighter future for Nigeria through education.
