Bauchi PDP Youths Stand Firm in Support of Damagum Amid Criticism
The Bauchi State PDP Coalition Youth Stakeholders have voiced strong support for Acting National Chairman Ambassador Umar Iliya Damagum amidst ongoing leadership challenges within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). The group criticized Damagum’s detractors, pointing out that many failed to secure victories in their polling units during recent elections.
They pledged to oppose any unconstitutional attempts to remove him and called for respect for a recent Abuja Federal High Court ruling. The coalition emphasized Damagum’s loyalty and contributions to the party, including leading the PDP to its first victory in Yobe State and supporting the party’s gubernatorial candidate in Edo State. They condemned the false narratives being circulated by individuals with declining political influence, framing them as anti-party claims.
