FG Raises Petrol Price to N1,025 per Litre

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has raised the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly known as petrol, from N980 to N1,025 per litre in Lagos and surrounding areas.

Announced on Tuesday, this marks the third adjustment within September and October 2024, aligning with the government’s deregulation policy that permits price shifts based on market supply and demand.

Reports indicate that the new rates will see residents of Abuja and Lagos paying N1,060 and N1,025 per litre, respectively.
