A Nigerian/Canadian writer and author Dr Babatunde Adams has unveiled another milestone novel, titled, ‘Eternal Love’.
‘Eternal Love’ novel is a captivating coming-of-age tale of parenthood, portraying the societal confines of his community and explores wider issues including family , influence, and communal ties.
The book is set to be launched in Lagos at Ola-Quran Central Mosque, Lagos Island on Sunday, 17th November 204.
On the sidelines of the book launch, the author will explain novel centred on patrimonial and matrimonial who yearns for their eternal life love.
Adams recounts his personal experiences, as he had always planned to write about his father and mother, regardless of where that journey would take him. This deep-seated desire and inspiration eventually led to the creation of the book.
In doing so, he emphasized the importance of remembering his birthplace, Lagos Island, and representing it on the global stage. With the multitude of new opportunities on the horizon, he felt a pressing need to determine where his true place in the future of the world would be, contemplating not just his personal path, but also how it might contribute to or reflect broader, global narratives.
It’s an invitation to readers to join me in envisioning a world where social responsibility and compassion guide our actions, fostering a sense of connectedness and shared humanity. Often, we overlook the individuals who live in these communities, failing to acknowledge their experiences and contributions.
Through humanizing the story of Eternal Love and the other narratives within this context, Adams hopes to highlight real experience about his parents’s
life and challenges.
The author has also established a charitable organisation to the people of Lagos’ Island to help benefit the lives of the inhabitants of Lagos state
