Ogun Medialink announces its 9th edition.Media Africa Awards 204, an annual event to recognise and reward professionals, leadership, and excellence across the state.
In a statement released on Wednesday, the event’s convener, Tiamiyo, announced that the gathering is scheduled for Friday, November 22, 2024, at the Promax hotel beside GTBank Asero Abeokuta, Ogun State, and shared this information with Fly Cable News.
The discussants at the event, Chairman Agidigbo FM, Alhaji Oriyomi Hamzat, “Role of investigative journalism in the broadcast industry.” and CPC Abdullah Maiwada, National Public Relations Officer, Nigeria Customs Service, Abuja, “Custom operations and enforcement of custom duty: the place of public relations.”
Commenting on the impact of the awards, Kolawole Okewole, Human Resources Strategist, said, “The Ogun Medialink Media Awards are not a jambore celebration of excellence but a force for positive change in our society. By recognising and rewarding outstanding personnel contributions and motivating others to impactful development.
This year’s awards come from a diverse array of categories, with a mix of established players, and celebrate those who’ve not only kept up with these challenges but have pushed the development of Nigeria forward. The Ogun Medialink Awards continue to spotlight the most impactful innovations and individuals shaping the future of Nigeria.
The awards continue to honour exceptional personalities, human resources, and professionals whose critical contribution to the development of Ogun State and Nigeria on human and infrastructural development index while championing impactful that resonate with the Nigerian public.
Okewole stated that the event promises fans, leaders, fashionistas, and celebrities a vibrant day of fun, learning, and excitement.
Expected to join the event are Senator Shuaib Afolabi Salisu of the Ogun Central senatorial district and Engineer Babatunde Akeem Adesina, special adviser to the Ogun State governor on works and infrastructure, along with other esteemed political figures, technocrats, and information managers.
