Igbogbo Bayeku Council Boss Appoints Suraj Abdulgafar as SSA Sport.

The Executive Chairman of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA Lagos State, Bldr. Sesan Daini, has appointed Mr. Suraj Abdulgafar as Special Senior Assistant on Sport.

The appointments were approved during an Executive Committee meeting held in the Council Conference Room, along with ten Special Senior Assistants (SSAs) to enhance grassroots governance and align with community needs, Fly Cable News gathered.

The chairman emphasised the importance of the newly appointed Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) in a governance approach that prioritises community well-being and responsiveness to community needs. 

He urged community members to support and welcome the SSAs, emphasising their collaboration for achieving the Local Council Development Area’s goals of fostering a sustainable and inclusive environment.

With a career spanning a wide range of roles in both the public and private sectors, Suraj Abdulgafar is the seasoned community mobilizer, resourceful, energetic, and promising young man in community involvement and social development changes.

Abdulgafar is CEO of District Laundry Services and a pioneer executive member of United Brothers Igbogbo Kingdom. He served as general secretary of the club and also a new member of Great Achiever’s Crew Igbogbo, Lagos.

Born in June 1991, Mr. Olayinka hails from Igbogbo Bayeku, Lagos State, and is the son of Adeniye Kafaru, popularly known as “Baba Oni Paper,” who is presently the Olotu of the Ladugba descent family.

He is a graduate of Lagos State Polytechnic, now Lagos State University of Technology, where he obtained an ND and HND from Federal Polytechnic Ado Ekiti in Banking & Finance.

As Senior Special Assistant on Sport, Abdulgafar is expected to oversee the development of sports activities to improve public awareness of government activities and facilitate stronger engagement between the Administration of Builder Sesan Daini and the community.
