FRSC Denies Recruitment Rumors, Warns Job Seekers About Online Scams

By Fly Cable News

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has refuted claims circulating online about a current recruitment drive, cautioning job seekers to beware of scammers. The warning was issued in a statement by the Corps’ Public Education Officer, Olusegun Ogungbemide, on Friday in Abuja.

Ogungbemide emphasized that the FRSC is not conducting any recruitment at this time, nor are there any plans for one. The clarification follows reports of fraudulent activities aimed at exploiting unsuspecting individuals.

“The FRSC has become aware of misleading publications on certain online platforms, falsely claiming that the Corps is recruiting personnel,” Ogungbemide stated. “We want to assure the public that these claims are untrue. There is no ongoing recruitment.”

He quoted Corps Marshal Malam Shehu Mohammed, who urged the public to disregard the false information and reiterated that the FRSC’s recruitment processes are always transparent and publicly announced. When recruitment is underway, official notices are published across various media platforms, including the Corps’ website, social media channels, and National Traffic Radio.

Ogungbemide further warned the public against engaging with scammers and stressed that the Corps will not be responsible for any losses incurred by individuals who fall victim to such fraudulent schemes.
