TESCOM CONSIDERS ELIGIBLE TEACHERS FOR APPOINTMENT AS PRINCIPALS, VICE PRINCIPALS

The Chairman, Teaching Service Commission, Mrs. Victoria Mopelola Peregrino today presided over the 145th policy meeting of the Commission constituted to consider the career progression of teachers in Education District II and VI who are being considered for School Principals and Vice Principals.

The Chairman advised those considered for consideration to be team players, good ambassadors of State Government, be proactive, always strive to promote synergy among teachers and make a positive difference to raise the bar of excellent results in student examinations that will justify the huge resources expended on education by the State Government.

In attendance were Board members including Mrs. Kafayat Ajenifuja representing Ikorodu Division, Mr. Abiodun Gbamgboye representing Ikeja Division and Mrs. Adeola Idowu representing Badagry Division. Also present were the Permanent Secretary of TESCOM, Princess Oyekan-Ismaila Abosede; TG/PS District II, Mrs. Anike Adekanye; TG/PS District VI, Mrs. Christiana Yusuf and Directors from the Commission and the Education Districts.

13 teachers on Grade Level 17 were presented for consideration for the post of Principals from District VI while Education District II presented 26 teachers on Grade Level 17 for consideration for the post of Principals and Vice Principals at the 145th policy meeting held at the Commission’s office in Ikeja.
