Over N132m Worth of Property Destroyed by Fire in Kano

In November, Kano State Fire Service reported that various fire outbreaks in the state led to the destruction of property valued at over N132,450,000.

The service, led by Hassan Muhammad, also successfully rescued three individuals and responded to 43 fire calls during the month.

However, the fires resulted in three fatalities, while four people were saved.

Additionally, the fire service prevented the loss of property worth N310,600,000. The service also dealt with six false alarms and five rescue calls.

The spokesperson, Saminu Abdullahi, urged the public to exercise caution, especially during the harmattan season, to prevent fire accidents and advised motorists to adhere to traffic laws during the upcoming Christmas holiday.
