Kwara Governor Mourns Chief of Staff, AbdulKadir Mahe

AbdulKadir Mahe, the Chief of Staff to the Kwara State Governor, passed away in the early hours of Saturday, December 28, 2024.
The announcement was made by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Rafiu Ajakaye. Mahe’s remains were buried the same day at his residence on Moro Street, Adewole Estate, Ilorin.
Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq expressed deep sorrow over Mahe’s death, describing him as “a perfect gentleman, community leader, urbane public servant, and statesman.”
In his statement, the governor extended condolences to the Emir of Ilorin, Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, the deceased’s family, government officials, and cabinet members.
“We pray that Allaah accepts his return, eases his accounts, admits him to al-Jannah Firdaus, and strengthens his family in this difficult time,” the governor added.
