Adamawa: 110 Promoted Police Officers Decorated with New Ranks

The Adamawa State Police Command decorated 110 newly promoted officers with their new ranks on Tuesday. The ceremony, held at the Police Officers Mess in Yola, was officiated by the state Commissioner of Police, Morris Dankombo.
Among the honorees were 15 Superintendents of Police (SPs) elevated to Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP), and 11 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) promoted to Superintendents of Police (SP). Additionally, 84 Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs) were decorated with their new ranks as Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSP).

Commissioner Dankombo congratulated the officers and urged them to uphold professionalism and dedication in their duties. “To whom much is given, much is expected,” he reminded them.

Representing the promoted officers, CSP Alfred Futuwe, Divisional Police Officer in Numan, expressed gratitude to the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, the Police Service Commission, and the Force Management team for recognizing their contributions and granting them the promotion.
