Heavy Security as APC Chieftains Gather for NEC Meeting.

The national secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC) was bustling with activity on Wednesday morning as governors and key party leaders arrived for the highly anticipated National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting.

Among the early arrivals were members of the National Working Committee, APC state chairmen, former Zamfara State Governor Senator Abdulaziz Yari, former Kebbi State Governor and Minister of Budget and National Planning Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, and Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, and Speaker of the House of Representatives Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas are also expected to attend.

By 8:30 a.m., the party headquarters and surrounding areas were filled with party supporters waving APC banners and playing music, while security was tightened with heavily armed operatives, including personnel from the Department of State Security, stationed at all entry and exit points to ensure order.
