Ramadan: Yobe Govt Adjusts Working Hours for Civil Servants.

Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State has approved a temporary adjustment to official working hours for public servants during the holy month of Ramadan.

The announcement was made in a statement on Tuesday by the Chief Information Officer of the Office of the Head of Service, Alhassan Sule Mamudo, and shared with the media.

According to the statement, civil servants will now work from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. from Monday to Thursday, while Friday’s working hours will be from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.

“This adjustment applies only for the duration of Ramadan, after which normal working hours will resume,” the statement clarified.

The government also directed heads of ministries, departments, and agencies to ensure strict compliance with the revised schedule.
