The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has appointed 16 new directors, effective March 3, to strengthen its policy, regulatory, and supervisory functions.

Ojumu Adenike – Medical Services
Makinde Olanrewaju – Procurement & Support Services
Abdullahi Hamisu – Banking Services

Financial & Regulatory Oversight:Sike Ijeoma – Financial Policy & Regulation
Isa-Olatinwo Aisha – Consumer Protection
Oboh Victor Ugbem – Monetary Policy

Trade & Payments:Nakorji Musa – Trade & Exchange
Yusuf Rakiya – Payment System Supervision

Supervision & Innovation:Vincent Modesola – Strategy, Management & Innovation
Farouk Muhammad – Reserve Management
Akinwunmi Olubukola Akinniyi – Banking Supervision

Financial Institutions & Currency Management:Solaja Mohammed-Jamiu – Other Financial Institutions Supervision (OFISD)
Hassan Umar – Development & Finance Institutions Supervision
