By Fly Cable News

The Federal Road Safety Corps has reported a total of 7,798 arrests in just two months as part of an intensified crackdown on number plate-related offences.

The surge in arrests comes as the corps works to address the increasing problem of fake vehicle registration plates, which pose significant risks to public safety and national security.

FRSC spokesperson, Olusegun Ogungbemide, disclosed the figures in a statement on Wednesday.

According to the statement, the FRSC’s crackdown has garnered widespread attention, with the National Assembly offering its full support for the initiative.
