NAPPS’s Victory Party: A Celebration of Success, Unity, and Commitment, says Alaka.

The National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools, NAPPS Lagos State chapter, threw a grand victory party to celebrate long court litigation as the court had given an order to reopen the NAPPS Secretariat and unfreeze post no debt restrictions.

The victory party was held at the CWC meeting at Zayith School, Eti-Osa chapter, yesterday, 20th March 2025.

The success of the court litigation’s victory was highlighted by the presence of various executive members and Board of Trustees (BOT) of NAPPS president Lagos State, High Chief Alaka Yusuf, who spoke at the event, congratulating all the executive members, the Board of Elders, and the Board of Trustees, particularly hailing the judgement and reinforcing the supremacy of the rule of law and upholding the democratic structures of NAPPS Lagos State. All members praised the commitment to the one voice, one unity of the NAPPS family in Lagos State.

Alaka noted: the meeting recorded one of the largest gatherings of educators at one sitting, with over 500 members sighted at the meeting, with all of them wearing a tee shirt with the inscription “We voted for Hajia Samira Jibrin and Chief Alaka-Yusuf Lukman. No to Otubela tenure elongation.

The event was spiced up with beautiful music, as it provided entertainment to the guests, who danced and sang along to the various tunes. The atmosphere was filled with joy and excitement as everyone present celebrated NAPPS’s victory.

NAPPS president used the opportunity to reaffirm his commitment and promise to live up to his campaign promises by focusing on providing excellent representation and effective service delivery on welfare packages of the members in Lagos State.

He also noted that the victory party created an avenue for everyone present to interact and socialise, fostering unity and a sense of belonging in the association.
