OMOGEYE ATTENDS SPECIAL RAMADAN PUBLIC LECTURE & IFTAR ORGANIZED BY COMRADE ABDUL-AFEEZ OPEYEMI ODELOLA

In the spirit of Ramadan, *Hon. George Adegeye Olawande (Omogeye),Representative for Amuwo Odofin Federal Constituency honoured an invitation to the Special Ramadan Public Lecture & Iftar, organized by Comrade Abdul-Afeez Opeyemi Odelola, Aspiring Councillor for Ward C in Amuwo Odofin LGA, at 512 Road, Festac Town, Lagos. The gathering brought together religious leaders, community members, and dignitaries for an evening of spiritual enlightenment, reflection, and communal bonding.

The keynote lecture, delivered by Fadilat Sheikh Muh Taofeek, Ameer Jamfaz Family, focused on “Patience and Gratitude”, highlighting the importance of perseverance in times of trials and the need for constant appreciation of Allah’s blessings. Sheikh Muh Taofeek urged attendees to embody these virtues, not just during Ramadan but in their daily interactions, emphasizing that patience leads to divine reward, while gratitude attracts more blessings.

In his remarks, Hon. Omogeye applauded the organizers for fostering unity and religious awareness through such an impactful event. He stressed the relevance of patience and gratitude in leadership, governance, and community development, encouraging attendees to cultivate these virtues to build a better society.

The event concluded with a collective Iftar (breaking of fast), reinforcing the spirit of togetherness and love that Ramadan symbolizes. Hon. Omogeye reiterated his commitment to supporting initiatives that promote peace, religious harmony, and social welfare.
