Alleged Hired Killer: Police to Arraign Wasiu Akinwande in Lagos Court.

‎Lagos state police command is set to arraign Wasiu Akinwande, popularly known as Olori Eso for legal proceedings on his nefarious activities in Mushin area and its environs. The alleged notorious hired killer will be arraigned tomorrow, July 9, 2025 at Ebute-Meta Magistrate Court.

‎Wasiu Akinwande, a 44 year old man is classified by the police as the most wanted in Lagos history in recent times. The state police command described the arrest as a significant breakthrough in its relentless fight against crime of violence and other criminalities in the state.

‎Wasiu Akinwande was arrested in his hideout in the Agbado area of Ogun State after several attempts by the Police Tactical Squadron to apprehend him.

‎Wasiu is said to be responsible for organizing and executing series of armed robberies, cold blooded murders, kidnappings and cult-related killings whose reign of terror instilled fear and apprehension in residents and posed a dangerous threat to law and order.
