The Nigerian government has released emergency contact numbers for citizens living in the Middle East as tensions continue to escalate in the region.
According to the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), the hotlines are meant to provide urgent assistance to Nigerians who may face security risks due to the ongoing conflict in parts of the Middle East.
Nigerians residing in countries such as the United Arab Emirates, Israel, Qatar, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Jordan have been advised to stay alert, follow local safety directives, and maintain close contact with Nigerian embassies for updates or possible evacuation plans.
Authorities also urged citizens in the region to remain calm and rely on official government channels for accurate information as the situation develops.
