The Yoruba Cultural Alliance, Dallas, Texas, USA, has hailed the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, as the most detribalised leader in Nigeria today.
According to the statement released by the President, YCA USA, Abiodun Akinfenwa, seen by FLY CABLE NEWS on Sunday, said that he faced challenges in the face of all adversity and his continued commitment to promote unity and inclusivity in the state.
“A detribalised leader, Governor Sanwo-Olu aims to promote a sense of belonging and unity among all Lagosians, regardless of their ethnic background, and ensure that Lagos State lives above board in the face of adversity.”
He noted that many Nigerians consider him one of the most detribalised governors due to his inclusive governance, developmental projects, cultural exchange programs, and tribal neutrality.
Akinfenwa explained that Gov. Sanwo-Olu has made efforts to include people from different tribes and backgrounds in his administration and has implemented various development projects that benefit all Lagosians, regardless of their tribe or ethnicity.
“The promoter promoted cultural exchange programs to foster greater understanding and unity among the diverse populations in Lagos State and demonstrated a commitment to being neutral and impartial in his decision-making, avoiding favouritism towards any particular tribe.”
