Prof Olayiwola Delivers LASU 98th Inaugural Lecture, August 27.

The pioneer Head of the Department of Political Science in the Lagos State University (LASU), Prof. Abdur-Rahman Olalekan Olayiwola, will be delivering the 98th inaugural lecture on August 27, 2024, at the Buba Marwa Auditorium Complex, main campus, Ojo, Lagos.

In a viral banner on various social media platforms, the lecture is themed “Political Communication and Political Complications in Nigeria: Analysis and Action”

The inaugural lecture would be chaired by the University’s Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ibiyemi Ibilola Tunji-Bello.

According to the University Don, the inaugural lecture would be witnessed by renowned political scientists, communications experts, media practitioners, policy decision makers, students and management experts.

Prof. Olayiwola is a renowned Political Scientist who had written academic journals on topical issues in Nigerian Government and Politics.

He is a specialist in political communication, party politics, comparative politics and federalism.

Prof. Olayiwola is a member of the Nigerian Political Science Association (NPSA).
