Muslim Progressive High School Class of 1999 Reunion

On Saturday, October 5, 2024, in Ota, the Muslim Progressive High School Class of 1999 held a memorable reunion. Over 60 alumni from various locations gathered to reconnect, celebrate, and revitalize their union.

Notable attendees included Obadiya Tayo, Akinolu Elizabeth (aka “Bouncing Baby Girl” BBG), Ibikunle Bolanle-Nepa, Sikiru Sulaimon Ageh, Olusegun Adisa, Bunmi Ogongo, Fakorede Sherifat, Fakorede Lateefat, Saheed Taiwo, Kunle Taiwo , Abubakar Lateef (Senior Prefect Boy) and Emmanuel Blessing (Senior Prefect Girl) and many others Also present was the current Imam of Oke Odan, where the school is located.

A highlight of the event was the surprise appearance of Mr. Oladeji, a revered teacher from their school days. He encouraged the alumni to cultivate the habit of giving back to society, particularly to their alma mater.

Special recognition awards were presented to outstanding members, including:

– Mr. Akanbi Adeleke (Chairman, Planning Committee)
– Mr. Olayode Abubakar
– Other dedicated members
