Power Minister Applauds Tinubu’s Cabinet Reshuffle

The Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, has praised President Tinubu’s recent cabinet reshuffle announced on Wednesday.

In a statement from his Special Adviser on Strategic Communication and Media Relations, Bolaji Tunji, Adelabu congratulated Sunday Dare, the former Minister of Youth and Sports Development, on his new role as Special Adviser on Public Communication and Orientation to the President.

He also extended his congratulations to Jumoke Oduwole, the newly appointed Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment, who previously served as a senior lecturer at the University of Lagos, as well as to other newly appointed federal ministers.

Adelabu emphasized that these appointments reflect the President’s ability to identify capable leaders to guide the nation. “Being chosen by Mr. President signifies their skills, exceptional leadership, and expertise,” he stated.

He praised Dare as a professional media consultant whose extensive experience will benefit his new role.

Adelabu acknowledged Oduwole’s previous work as Special Adviser on Ease of Doing Business and other significant positions, asserting that her background will serve her well as a minister.

Regarding the other new appointees, he expressed confidence that their commitment and vision would advance Nigeria, urging them to view their roles as opportunities to serve the country and elevate its progress.

He wished all the new minister’s wisdom, strength, and success in their endeavors.

It is worth noting that Tinubu dismissed five ministers on Wednesday, including the Minister of Women Affairs, Uju-Kennedy Ohanenye; the Minister of Tourism, Lola Ade-John; the Minister of Education, Prof. Tahir Mamman; the Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development, Abdullahi Muhammad Gwarzo; and the Minister of Youth Development, Dr. Jamila Ibrahim.
