Obasanjo Visits Ondo Governor Aiyedatiwa Ahead of Governorship Election

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo paid a visit to Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, at the Government House in Akure on Monday, ahead of the upcoming governorship election on Saturday, November 16.
Aiyedatiwa, a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), became governor in 2023 following the passing of his predecessor, Rotimi Akeredolu, after a prolonged illness.
The visit, captured in images shared on the APC’s official X (formerly Twitter) account, was described as a courtesy call. The post read: “Former President Olusegun Obasanjo on Monday visited Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa at the Government House in Akure. Ahead of the Saturday governorship election, Obasanjo wished the governor a successful re-election.”
