IPMAN to Purchase Petrol From Dangote Refinery At N940-N990/Litre, Expect Price Reductions

The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) has secured an agreement to purchase petrol, diesel, and other petroleum products directly from the Dangote Refinery, bypassing intermediaries.
Over 30,000 IPMAN members will buy Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) at prices of N940 per litre (via vessels) and N990 per litre (via truck transport).
This direct supply from Dangote’s refinery, which has a capacity of 650,000 barrels per day, is expected to reduce fuel prices nationwide by eliminating middlemen like the NNPC.
IPMAN projects price reductions of up to N50 per litre in certain regions. The new arrangement aims to improve fuel availability and end supply delays.
Meanwhile, Dangote Refinery is also preparing to export over 200,000 metric tonnes of petrol abroad.
