With a crisis of water in Lagos Island and Lagos State, this is the most useless young person Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu ever appointed. Imagine a unique scenario where an aquatic environment exists entirely without the presence of drinkable water.

This is a case of having incompetent hands saddled with the responsibility of Lagos Water Corporation appointing an engineer who lacks vision to find lasting solutions to water supply in Lagos.

Corporate Accountability and Public Participation Africa (CAPPA) revealed that over 8 million Lagos residents lack access to clean drinking water, despite the state’s reputation as a megacity, but Managing Director, Lagos Water Corporation, Engr. Mukhtaar Tijani, keeps dropping press releases and unfulfilled promises to the lasting solutions to the water shortage and supply in Lagos.

Recently, on what happened on the island, a set of people set blazed truck water pushers into fire as a result of high price charges in a state surrendered by water and resources to provide portable water to its residents.

I am challenging his feed-bottle router to highlight the achievement of your principal saddles with the responsibility of delivering and supplying drinkable and quality water services to the people of Lagos’ state.

The actions of those driven by the greed and corruption of this nature continue to undermine Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s well-intentioned agenda, which aims to serve the people of Lagos effectively by ensuring an adequate and equitable water supply to all residents put into jeopardy.
