Anambra Command Arrest Notorious Suspected Armed Robber

The Anambra state police command says its operatives have arrested an 18-year-old notorious suspected armed robber Miracle Mwakalor who is from Awka south local government area of the state.

The suspect according to a statement by the police spokesperson Tochukwu Ikenga made available to newsmen, said the suspect was busted by operatives of the special Anti-cultism squad who stormed their hideout through credible intelligence.

The suspect was said to have led the police to an apartment in Awka where an AK 47 rifle with a magazine was recovered in the roof. Other members of the gang were said to have escaped with various degrees of injuries during the operation which lasted for thirty minutes.

Efforts are on according to the police to arrest other members of the gang as the Anambra police commissioner CP Nnaghe Obono warn criminals to steer clear of the state or turn a new leaf.
