Anambra police command extend kidnapped Lawmaker search to Delta

The Anambra state police command says it has extended the search for Hon Justice Azuka, the kidnapped Lawmaker representing Onitsha North constituency in the Anambra state house of assembly to Delta state.
The state police commissioner CP Nnaghe Obono in a statement he personally signed, said the synergy between Delta command and Anambra who share a common border, led to extending the search to Asaba the state capital.
According to the police, the recovery of the car belonging to the Lawmaker has given the police a clue on how to arrest the suspects and rescue the Lawmaker unhurt.
The Lawmaker was kidnapped by gunmen on Christmas eve while returning to his hometown, and his car was abandoned by the gunmen at Upper Iweka where it was recovered by the police with the Lawmaker whisked away to an unknown destination.
