By Fly Cable News
The Nigeria Police in Borno State have successfully recovered three projectiles, preventing a potential explosion.
According to the state police spokesperson, Nahum Daso, the explosives were discovered on January 2, 2025, in the Dala Kafanti area of Maiduguri.
A resident, Asabe James, reported a suspicious sack behind her house, prompting the Command’s Explosive Ordnance Disposal team to swiftly secure the area.
The projectiles, believed to have been abandoned by unidentified individuals early that morning, were safely recovered.
Police have since conducted community sensitization on explosive safety and risk awareness to prevent future incidents.
