BREAKING NEWS: John Mahama Sworn in as Ghana’s President

John Mahama has officially taken the oath of office as Ghana’s new president in a high-profile inauguration ceremony attended by global leaders.

Mahama was declared the winner of the December 8, 2024, presidential election, defeating his main rival, Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia.

Having previously served as Ghana’s 12th President from 2011 to 2017, Mahama has returned to power through re-election.

Nigeria’s President, Bola Tinubu, traveled to Accra on Monday to attend the historic event, which is currently underway in Ghana’s capital city.
