Police arrested Gospel Singer, Beheaded girlfriend in Abuja.

The Nasarawa State Police Command has arrested a suspected Gospel Singer Oluwatimileyin Ajayi, for allegedly killing his girlfriend, Salome Enejo, for ritual purposes.

According to reports, Ajayi was apprehended on Sunday in Agwan Sarki, Orozo, a boundary area between Nasarawa State and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), with a fresh human head in his possession.

The Nasarawa State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Ramhan Nansel, confirmed the incident, stating that the suspect was rescued from an angry mob who had severely beaten him before police intervention.

Following his rescue, the suspect led officers to his residence, where the dismembered remains of the victim were discovered, packed in sacks.

The deceased, later identified as 24-year-old Salome Enejo, was a resident of Nyanya, Abuja, and a serving member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).

The PPRO stated, “On Sunday evening, police operatives from the Karshi Division rescued one Ajayi from an angry mob. A sack containing a fresh human head was recovered from him. Further investigations led to his room, where dismembered human remains were found packed into sacks.”

The suspect, currently receiving medical treatment, is under police custody as the Commissioner of Police has ordered a comprehensive investigation into the case.
