Okpebholo, Idahosa Sworn in as Edo Governor and Deputy

Monday Okpebholo has officially sworn in as the Governor of Edo State.
This, following his election to succeed Godwin Obaseki, who completed his second term in office. His deputy, Idahosa, also took the oath of office alongside him.
The ceremony took place at Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, where the state’s Chief Justice, Daniel Okungbowa, administered the oath.
Both leaders pledged to uphold the constitution and dedicate themselves to the welfare of the people of Edo State.
Dignitaries in attendance included Vice President Kashim Shettima, Kwara State Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, Chairman of the Governors’ Forum, and Philip Shaibu, the reinstated deputy governor of Edo State, as well as other APC governors.
