LNSA receives Distinguished Service Award; Oyekan Expresses Gratitude as Dignitaries Honour the Agency.
The Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Agency (LNSA), under Prince Dr. Ifalade Oyekan, FISN,has been honoured with the Distinguished Service in Public Safety and Community Engagement Award for its outstanding contributions to the security architecture of Lagos State.
Prince Oyekan received the award with deep appreciation and a grateful heart.
The recognition was presented at the Tourism Transport Summit Award 2025 ceremony, hosted and organized by Chief Abiodun Odusanwo, National President of the Institute of Tourism Professionals of Nigeria.
The event drew a distinguished gathering of dignitaries who came to celebrate Prince Oyekan’s exceptional leadership and commitment to community safety.
Among the dignitaries were, Hon. Anthony Adeyinka Adeboye, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Grassroot Sports Development, Hon. Wale Abdulsalam, Commissioner, Code of Conduct Bureau and Hon. Kayode Akiolu, Member, House of Representatives (Lagos Island II)
Also present were Barr. Wasiu Ajiboye, Mr. Yemi Akiolu, Mr. Abdul Abiola and members of the LNSA management team, who joined their General Manager in celebrating remarkable achievement.
In his remarks, Prince Oyekan expressed profound gratitude the Governor of Lagos State Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu for the opportunity afforded him while he also thanked the organizers for the honour while he reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to enhancing public safety, deepening community engagement, and strengthening collaboration with residents for a safer Lagos.
The award further cements his reputation as a transformational leader dedicated to service, excellence, and community-focused security initiatives, while it reiterates the pioneering role of the Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Agency in Nigeria.
