Ondo: INEC Issues Certificates of Return to Aiyedatiwa and Adelami

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has officially presented the Certificates of Return to Ondo State’s Governor-elect, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, and his deputy, Dr. Olayide Adelami.

The ceremony, held at INEC’s headquarters on Tuesday, was attended by dignitaries such as Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and members of the party’s National Working Committee (NWC).

Prof. Kunle Ajayi, INEC’s National Commissioner for Ondo State, presented the certificates.

In his address, Aiyedatiwa, who was accompanied by Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun, expressed his gratitude to the people of Ondo State for renewing his mandate through their overwhelming support across all 18 local government areas. He acknowledged that the renewed trust had placed a greater responsibility on him to serve even better than before.

Aiyedatiwa also extended his thanks to President Bola Tinubu for ensuring a fair playing field for all parties and commended INEC for conducting a free, fair, transparent, and inclusive election.
