Tinubu Bans Homosexuality and Cross-Dressing in Nigerian Military.

By Fly Cable News

President Bola Tinubu has approved a ban on homosexuality, lesbianism, bestiality, and cross-dressing within the Nigerian Military, deeming these behaviors inconsistent with the ethical standards of the armed forces.

Section 26 of the revised *Harmonised Armed Forces Terms and Conditions of Service*, signed by Tinubu on December 16, 2024, also prohibits military personnel from body piercing, tattooing, disorderly conduct, and intoxication, whether on or off duty.

The guidelines state:
– Officers must not engage in activities linked to LGBTQIA2S+ groups or practices such as cross-dressing.
– Body piercings, tattoos, drunkenness, and public misconduct are prohibited.
– Romantic relationships with subordinates or their spouses are strictly forbidden.

The document, however, does not specify penalties for violations of these rules.
