Christian Solidarity Worldwide Condemns killings in Benue.

A UK-based faith organisation, Christian Solidarity Worldwide Nigeria, has condemned the recent attack on Yelewata community in Guma Local Area of Benue State, which occurred on Saturday, June 14, 2025.

The Chief Executive Officer of CSW-N, Rev. Yunusa Nmadu, stated that the majority of rural residents in Benue State are facing an existential threat from these armed herdsmen, who are deliberately eradicating generations of people.

The attack had resulted in the deaths of no fewer than 100 people, with some estimates suggesting the casualty figure could be as high as 200.
