NNPP wins All 44 Local Govt Chairmanship and Councillorship Seats
The Kano State Independent Electoral Commission (KANSIEC) has declared the New Nigeria Peoples’ Party (NNPP) victorious in all 44 Local Government Chairmanship and Councillorship positions across the state.
Chairman of KANSIEC, Sani Malumfashi, announced the results shortly after the conclusion of the local council elections.
He noted that six political parties participated in the polls.
The Commission expressed gratitude to Kano residents for their peaceful conduct throughout the electoral process.
